Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me. If there is one thing that you should know about me, I truly love my job as an orthodontist. I pride myself and my practice on being approachable and doing what is right. I genuinely take pleasure in getting to know each and every patient on a professional as well as a personal level, and I especially enjoy the opportunity to work with children and young adults to positively cultivate their developing self images and esteems. It is truly a blessing to work in the communities I owe so much. I strive to provide the best orthodontic experience for my patients and their families. I am grateful for all the encouragement and support of my teachers, family, patients ,and loyal friends. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and I look forward to many years of creating beautiful smiles!
I began my formal education at W.R. McNeill Elementary School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. My journey continued through Bowling Green Junior High School and Bowling Green High School. I spent many years playing baseball, football, and showing horses all over Tennessee and Kentucky.
From there, I attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I played varsity baseball for the Emory Eagles and made three NCAA Tournament appearances. During this time, I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration. After graduating from Emory, I was accepted into the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While earning my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry, I also was the only student to simultaneously complete a Masters of Science in Oral Biology.
Next, I moved south to Vanderbilt University. It is one of only three hospital-based orthodontic programs in the country. I completed a three-year orthodontic residency along with a one-year orthodontic fellowship. I also was a part-time faculty member at The Vanderbilt Orthodontic Clinic.
I have been practicing Orthodontics now for five years. I spent 2.5 years as an associate orthodontist at Malchow and Lawless Orthodontics. In May of 2011 Wiesemann Orthodontics was born! Since then I have been privileged to work with families from Nothern Tennesee and Western Kentucky.
Continuing education is essential in order to offer our patients the best available treatment. I frequently attend continuing education courses and am constantly reading orthodontic journals. Making the orthodontic experience better is what I do. In fact, I have filed two patents for orthodontic appliances to make the experience for my patients the best possible. I also am a member of several orthodontic and dental associations including the American Association of Orthodontist.
I understand the hectic schedules parents, kids, and adults keep these days. I strive to make the orthodontic experience as convienent as possible. The Following are just a few of the many areas that our patients are from:
Bowling Green, KY • Franklin, KY • Russellville, KY • Smiths Grove, KY • Scottsville, KY • White House, TN • Portland, TN • Lafayette, TN • Hendersonville, TN • Springfield, TN • Goodlettsville, TN • Crossplains, TN • Goodlettsville, TN • Letchfield, KY
